Details of the Job/Internship

Yoti is hiring a Global Regulatory Research Analyst with 1-2 years of experience to support its regulatory and policy work.

Role and Responsibilities

• Identify and review global legislation, technical codes, and the enforcement stance of regulators.
• Build and maintain a database of evolving regulation and policy summaries to support business growth.
• Collaborate with engineering leads to refine an internal AI-driven legislative scanning tool.
• Convert complex legal, technical, and software-engineering concepts into actionable internal guidance.
• Focus on global jurisdictional rules regarding age assurance, online safety, biometric consent, and data protection.
• Curate global sources across provinces, states, and countries to ensure the database remains current.

Eligibility

• Law degree from a recognized institution.
• 1–2 years of commercial experience in a global environment, specifically in legal, policy, or regulatory research.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze legal texts and produce clear, plain-English summaries.
• Understanding of biometrics and ethical issues surrounding emerging technologies.
• Familiarity with AI research methods, software development, or engineering workflows.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
