Details of the Job/Internship

Vodafone Idea Limited is hiring a General Manager – Legal Operations with 10–15 years of experience to join their legal department at the Mumbai Corporate Office. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with Indian and international entities.
• Prepare and respond to legal notices and correspondence.
• Handle litigation and arbitration matters with support from external counsel.
• Lead key legal projects and ensure timely execution.
• Advise internal stakeholders on diverse legal issues.
• Manage the contract lifecycle, both manually and through digital tools.
• Report legal issue updates to senior management.
• Guide internal teams on documentation processes and legal compliance.
• Review company policies and legal procedures regularly.

Eligibility

• Law degree from a recognized university.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in reputed Indian business houses or MNCs.
• Strong knowledge of contract, marketing, and IP laws.
• Experience in contract negotiation and litigation/arbitration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Updated knowledge of legal developments preferred.
• Network with external counsel across India is desirable.
