Details of the Organization
Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun was established in 2011 under section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956 set up under the aegis of Graphic Era Educational Society, Dehradun. The School of Law, Graphic Era Hill University (GEHU) has been home not only to legal education but also played a pivotal role in making conversation on the rule of law as well as law and justice.
Details of the Moot Court Competition
The 3rd National Moot Court competition organized by the School of Law, GEHU, is intended to boost the learning, confidence, critical thinking, communications, and research skills of mooters who are eager to develop themselves in the legal field. This moot court competition aims to teach students about court processes and decorum, provide them with experience in various positions such as counsel, and help them acquire confidence.
The competition is scheduled to be held from 16th to 18th February (online) and March 2nd to 3rd (offline) in hybrid form.
Eligibility
- The competition is open for students who are pursuing LL.B. three-year or five-year course from any law school/college/university in India recognized by the Bar Council of India.
- Each team should consist of 3 members. This number cannot be modified under any circumstances.
- There shall be 2 speakers and 1 researcher designated for each team.
