Details of the Job/Internship

Turner & Townsend is hiring a Head – Legal with 10–15 years of experience to lead the legal function for its South Asia operations.

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement legal strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with corporate, labour, and statutory regulations.
• Monitor legislative changes and advise management.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, NDAs, MoUs, and service agreements.
• Maintain contract repositories and ensure renewals and compliance.
• Manage litigation, arbitration, civil, criminal, and labour matters.
• Liaise with external counsel and represent the company in proceedings.
• Advise on corporate governance and Companies Act compliance.
• Identify legal risks in RFPs and recommend mitigation measures.
• Conduct internal legal audits and maintain risk controls.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Operations, and internal teams for legal support.
• Manage relationships with regulators and legal advisors.
• Support integration activities between CBRE and Turner & Townsend from a legal perspective.

Eligibility

• LL.B. from a recognized university; LL.M. preferred.
• 10–15 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a corporate legal department.
• Strong knowledge of corporate, commercial, labour, and regulatory laws.
• Experience in litigation, arbitration, and regulatory matters.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
