Details of the Job/Internship
The Ayurveda Experience is hiring a Head of Legal with 8–12 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on corporate and commercial matters.
- Ensure legal compliance across multiple geographies.
- Review, draft, and negotiate key agreements and contracts.
- Advise on employment issues and business risk mitigation.
- Support M&A, restructures, strategic alliances, and IP enforcement.
- Lead litigation strategy and manage external legal counsel.
- Maintain corporate governance and serve as Company Secretary.
- Develop training programs for non-legal teams.
- Foster relationships with external legal advisors and regulatory bodies.
- Guide marketing and product teams on legal claims and compliance.
Eligibility
- Law degree from a recognized university in India or Asia-Pacific.
- Admitted to practice law in India.
- 8–12 years of post-qualification experience in law firms or MNCs (or both).
- Fluent in English and Hindi.
- Strong experience in corporate/commercial law, compliance, and contract drafting.
- FMCG sector experience preferred but not mandatory.
