The company operates both digital and offline retail formats and has scaled multiple D2C brands. Purplle achieved unicorn status in 2022 and is preparing for an IPO.
Details of the Job/Internship
Purplle is hiring a Head – Legal with 10+ years of experience to join its office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead legal and secretarial workstreams for the IPO, including due diligence and DRHP verification.
- Interface with SEBI, stock exchanges, legal counsels, and regulatory authorities.
- Oversee corporate governance, board and committee meetings, and statutory compliances.
- Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, SEBI regulations, and other applicable laws.
- Draft, negotiate, and manage commercial, technology, and vendor contracts.
- Manage litigation, disputes, intellectual property, and data privacy matters.
- Provide strategic legal advice on business expansion, risk management, and regulatory changes.
Eligibility
- Qualified Company Secretary with an LLB or LLM degree.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in legal and secretarial roles.
- Mandatory experience working in a listed Indian company.
- Direct involvement in at least one end-to-end IPO process.
- Strong knowledge of Companies Act, SEBI regulations, FEMA, and contract law.
