Anand Rathi Insurance brokers (ARIBL) is hiring for the position of Head of Compliance to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Policy & Process Compliance
- Regularly review and update internal policies in line with evolving regulations and best practices.
- Monitor organization-wide adherence to compliance policies and procedures.
2. Regulatory Compliance & Reporting
- Keep abreast of applicable laws and IRDAI guidelines relevant to insurance broking.
- Prepare and file statutory reports, including BAF returns and IRDAI submissions, accurately and within deadlines.
3. Training & Awareness
- Conduct regular compliance training and awareness programs for employees.
- Ensure all staff are informed of their compliance responsibilities and legal obligations.
4. Risk Assessment & Mitigation
- Identify and assess compliance-related risks across departments.
- Develop and implement controls to manage and minimize these risks effectively.
5. Monitoring & Internal Investigations
- Conduct internal audits and assessments to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Investigate potential breaches of policies or regulations and recommend corrective actions.
Eligibility
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Compliance, or related field (preferred).
- Experience: Prior experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory roles within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Certifications: Compliance or regulatory affairs certifications (e.g., ICA, ACAMS) are an added advantage.
- Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with compliance tools, regulatory portals, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
