Details of the Job/Internship
NAV India is hiring for the position of Head of Compliance with 10+ years of experience to join their office in Jaipur.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Strategic Compliance Program Development
- Design, implement, and sustain a robust, organization-wide compliance program, including clear policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Embed compliance considerations seamlessly within core business processes and the enterprise risk management framework.
2. Strategic Guidance & Integration
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on compliance and regulatory matters.
- Leverage data analytics to monitor compliance activities and perform regular audits.
- Guide the organization through crisis situations and mitigate reputational risks effectively.
3. Risk Assessment & Management
- Conduct proactive, scenario-based risk assessments to anticipate and address emerging compliance threats.
- Present detailed compliance testing insights to senior management and board-level stakeholders.
- Identify compliance gaps, develop preventive strategies, and assign accountability for critical failures.
- Establish measurable KPIs and Key Result Areas (KRAs) to track progress and enhance transparency.
4. Continuous Program Review & Improvement
- Periodically evaluate and enhance the compliance framework to ensure ongoing relevance and effectiveness.
- Develop comprehensive training and awareness programs to promote understanding of compliance obligations and ethical practices across all levels of the organization.
5. Change Management & Collaboration
- Partner with departments such as Risk, Legal, Internal Audit, and Operations to integrate compliance into the strategic risk landscape.
- Champion a culture rooted in integrity, transparency, and accountability.
- Lead a well-crafted communication and change management strategy to drive organization-wide adoption of compliance initiatives.
6. Extended Oversight (Nice to Have)
- Oversee compliance across a broad spectrum, including commercial, financial, EHS (Environment, Health & Safety), data privacy, cybersecurity, HR, POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment), and statutory/regulatory matters.
- Strategize for the inclusion of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) compliance frameworks in future phases.
Eligibility
- Postgraduate degree in Law, Finance, Company Secretaryship (CS), Chartered Accountancy (CA), MBA, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in Compliance, Risk Management, or relevant disciplines (e.g., CCEP, CRMA, CCO) are preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of strategic compliance experience, with a proven track record of leadership in complex regulatory environments.
