Details of the Job/Internship

Vedanta Limited - Aluminium Business is looking for a candidate for the position of Contracts Head - Commercial with 12+ years of experience.

Role and Responsibilities

• Managing & standardizing Contract lifecycle process.
• Formulating contracting strategies for different procurement verticals. 
• Strategizing & driving negotiations and close-outs (with respect to the legal terms & conditions in the contracts).
• Ensuring the alignment of contracts with the company objectives & compliance standards.
• To act as a conduit between legal & commercial functions (internally) and as a bridge between Vedanta & Vendors (externally).
• To ensure that all contractual accountability and duties are met by both the parties signing it.
• To provide resolution on a mutual win-win basis whenever a situation arises.
• To educate the stakeholders about their rights and responsibilities as per the conditions laid in the contract.
• Spearheading risk management strategies & constantly deliver value to the stakeholders.
• To draft, monitor, review and update the contracts in line with the continuously evolving legal regulations.

Eligibility

• Education - BE/BTech/MBA/LLB/MA+BL/ML or in any relevant field.
• 12+ years of Work experience in procurement / contracting / contract management.
• Proficiency in Contract Law.
• Possess initiative, strong leadership & analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• 60% throughout in 10th, 12th, Graduation and Post-graduation without any backlogs at the time of selection and joining.
• Maximum 1 year of gap between either XII & Graduation or between Graduation & Post Graduation. No other gap in regular course of studies is allowed
