CGC University is hiring an experienced and visionary Head of Department (HOD) for its School of Legal Studies.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide academic leadership to ensure top-tier excellence in teaching and pedagogy.
- Oversee the development and regular updating of the curriculum in line with UGC and BCI norms.
- Lead faculty management, departmental administration, and daily academic operations.
- Promote a culture of research, scholarly publications, and collaborative industry projects.
- Mentor students and enhance their participation in moot courts and legal competitions.
- Ensure departmental compliance with NAAC, UGC, and institutional standards.
- Foster a research-driven environment that empowers both faculty and learners.
- Drive institutional growth and enhance the reputation of the School of Legal Studies.
Eligibility
- Ph.D. in Law (Mandatory) and LL.M. (Master’s Degree in Law).
- 10–15 years of total teaching/research experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in leadership roles (HOD, Dean, or Coordinator preferred).
- Strong background in research and a proven track record of publications.
- Deep expertise in UGC and BCI regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent strategic vision, team management, and communication skills.
