Lords University is hiring a Head of Department – Law with 8–10 years of academic and administrative experience to lead the School of Law at their campus in Alwar NCR.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide academic leadership and vision for the Department of Law.
- Design and implement an innovative curriculum.
- Foster a research-oriented culture.
- Oversee faculty recruitment, mentoring, and development.
- Ensure compliance with BCI norms and legal education regulations.
- Collaborate with legal industry stakeholders for experiential learning opportunities.
- Lead accreditations, audits, and institutional collaborations.
- Maintain student discipline, performance, and academic integrity.
- Represent the department in university-level committees.
Eligibility
- Ph.D. in Law from a recognized university (mandatory).
- 8–10 years of teaching and academic administration experience in a reputed law school or university.
- Strong publication record in UGC/Scopus-indexed journals.
- Demonstrated leadership in legal academia, curriculum development, and faculty management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary/Stipend
