Details of the Job/Internship
Lenskart.com is hiring a Head of Government Relations with senior-level experience to manage and strengthen relationships with government entities in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead policy advocacy initiatives to influence regulations impacting the company, including tax matters.
- Engage with government authorities to support regulatory clarity for products and services.
- Facilitate strategic projects involving government coordination, including factory launches and investment incentives.
- Develop and manage international government relations in regions such as the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
- Address operational risks through targeted regulatory engagement and lobbying.
- Monitor and influence regulatory developments, including quality control orders and data privacy laws.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Central and State government stakeholders.
- Arrange management-level government meetings and represent the company’s economic and social contributions.
Eligibility
- Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience.
- Educational qualification in Law (LLB) or Public Administration (MPA) preferred.
- Experience in government relations, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory affairs.
- Understanding of the Indian regulatory and political environment.
- Prior experience with Lenskart.com preferred.
