Details of the Job/Internship
Som Group of Companies is hiring a Head of Legal Compliance with over 15 years of experience for its Bhopal office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all corporate legal, regulatory, and governance requirements.
- Maintain statutory registers, records, and policy documentation.
- Coordinate board meetings, draft agendas, and prepare detailed minutes.
- Draft, vet, and negotiate legal documents, including trademarks, patents, and legal metrology matters.
- Handle recovery cases and liaise with government departments, banks, and statutory authorities.
- Oversee LODR, IEPF, Companies Act, FEMA, NBFC, and secretarial audit compliances.
- Manage company incorporation processes and filing of statutory forms with the ROC.
- Review NDAs, lease agreements, JV agreements, MoUs, partnership deeds, and settlement agreements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders for seamless company administration.
Eligibility
- 15+ years of experience in Legal and Company Secretarial roles.
- Strong understanding of corporate compliance and governance.
- Expertise in drafting and negotiation of legal documents.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in stakeholder management.
- CS qualification with ICSI membership preferred.
- Experience in a similar role is an added advantage.
