TMF Group is hiring a Head of Legal – IMEA with a minimum of 10 years of experience to join their Gurugram office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Act as a second line of defence, managing legal risk across markets.
- Provide legal advice to market management and participate in strategic meetings.
- Ensure compliance with global and local legal policies and standards.
- Conduct second-line testing and support implementation of controls.
- Provide guidance on data privacy, client contracting, procurement, HR legal matters, and regulatory strategy.
- Collaborate with internal teams on M&A, entity management, and governance.
- Lead execution and reporting of Global Legal Priorities & KPIs.
- Monitor legal developments and provide training across the market.
- Review and support in legal correspondence with authorities.
- Identify opportunities for legal process improvements and risk mitigation.
Eligibility
- Qualified lawyer with at least 10 years of legal experience.
- Preferably with both in-house and law firm background.
- Strong knowledge of corporate, civil, commercial, and liability law.
- Experienced in international collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Strong project management and legal advisory skills.
- Recognized Subject Matter Expert in specialist legal area.
