Akshay Group is hiring for the position of Head of Legal to join their office in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all legal matters across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Advise senior management on legal risks, rights, and obligations.
• Oversee dispute resolution and litigation management.
• Develop and implement legal policies and risk management strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the legal team.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.); Master’s degree or specialization in corporate/commercial law is preferred.
• Proven expertise in law, compliance, and contract management.
• Strong experience in legal consulting and handling legal issues.
• Excellent skills in drafting and reviewing legal documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
• Prior experience in the real estate or residential housing sector will be a strong advantage.
