Details of the Job/Internship

Artha Group is hiring a Head of Legal with 10+ years of experience to lead its legal strategy, transactions, structuring, and governance across its entities and investment platforms. This is a senior leadership role responsible for end-to-end investment documentation, fund structuring, entity formation, litigation oversight, and building a high-performing legal team.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead all legal documentation and execution for investment transactions, fund raises, and structuring.
• Advise on fund structuring, SPVs, and cross-border vehicles.
• Implement and maintain contract lifecycle management systems.
• Manage disputes, oversee IP portfolio, and ensure governance compliance.
• Build and lead the legal team, set performance standards, and foster continuous learning.
• Liaise with external counsel, ensuring efficiency, quality, and budget adherence.

Eligibility

• 10+ years of progressive legal experience in corporate law, transactions, entity structuring, and fund formation.
• Prior experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or family office ecosystems preferred.
• Strong command of contract law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to lead negotiations and execute at scale.
• Experience in team building and legal operations systems.
• Law degree from a reputed institution; CS qualification is a plus.
