Details of the Job/Internship

Artha Group is hiring a Head of Legal with 10+ years of experience to lead its legal strategy, transactions, structuring, and governance functions.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead legal documentation for investment transactions, fund raises, and internal structuring, including SHAs, SSAs, SPAs, PPMs, AoAs, NDAs, and employment agreements.
• Serve as the final reviewer and approval authority for all transaction-related legal documents.
• Advise on fund structuring, SPV formation, and cross-border legal architectures, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Implement and manage contract lifecycle management systems and legal workflows.
• Oversee litigation matters, intellectual property filings, enforcement, and governance compliance.
• Build and manage a high-performing legal team and maintain strong partnerships with external counsel.

Eligibility

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in corporate law, transactions, entity structuring, and fund formation.
• Prior experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or family offices preferred.
• Strong expertise in contract law, corporate governance, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven leadership in negotiations and managing complex legal workstreams.
• Knowledge of digital legal tools and contract lifecycle systems.• Law degree from a reputed institution; CS qualification is an additional advantage.
