Details of the Job/Internship

Fairgrowth Management Consultants Pvt. Ltd. is hiring for the position of Head of Legal  with 15-20 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Legal Counsel & Advisory Management

• Select and manage legal counsel best suited for the group’s litigations
• Review inputs and recommendations from advocates to ensure they meet organizational requirements
• Evaluate performance of external legal advisors periodically

2. Land Acquisition & Transactions

• Verify legal status of land and identify title disputes, if any
• Review and approve land acquisition proposals and agreements
• Oversee execution of land deals and resolve related disputes

3. Joint Ventures & New Business

• Review and finalize joint venture agreements
• Provide legal support for the setup of new companies and business initiatives

4. Contracts & Vendor Relations

• Review standard contracts prepared by the Contracts Head
• Resolve legal escalations with vendors and project management companies
• Offer legal opinions and guidance to internal departments
• Provide contingent liability details and notes for audit purposes

5. Compliance & Regulatory Oversight

• Ensure adherence to all applicable real estate laws
• Assess impact of legislative changes and recommend corrective actions
• Work closely with SBU and Function Heads to ensure compliance

Eligibility

• LL.B with 15–20 years of legal experience, preferably in the real estate sector.
• In-depth knowledge of laws and compliance requirements related to real estate.
• Proven leadership in managing large-scale transactions and legal teams.
• Strong negotiation, advisory, and stakeholder management skills.

Salary/Stipend
