Details of the Job/Internship
FORVIA HELLA is hiring a Head of Legal with over 15 years of experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry to join their Gurugram office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead contract review, negotiation, and management processes.
- Provide legal advice and conduct research to support business operations.
- Formulate strategies for dispute resolution and risk mitigation.
- Manage corporate governance and legal entity structuring.
- Support M&A and joint venture transactions.
- Oversee regulatory and government affairs, including industry compliance.
- Manage commercial insurance, external counsel, and internal legal training.
- Lead and develop a team of legal professionals to achieve departmental goals.
Eligibility
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
- Qualified Company Secretary (CS); LL.B. or LL.M. preferred.
- Strong expertise in contract management, dispute resolution, IP, and compliance.
- Exposure to M&A, joint ventures, and corporate governance.
- Proven leadership and cross-functional team management skills.
- High integrity, business acumen, and solution-oriented approach.
