Details of the Job/Internship

They're looking for a seasoned Legal Associate Director/ Director with 15-20 years of experience in the tech industry, preferably in SaaS and startup environments. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal guidance to the CEO, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams
• Lead negotiations with blue-chip clients, partners and vendors, ensuring favourable terms and mitigating risks
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive legal policies, procedures and compliance programs
• Manage and coordinate with external counsel, ensuring efficient and effective legal support 
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and address potential legal risks and opportunities 
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes and emerging legal issues, applying this knowledge to inform business decisions.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB)
• 15-20 years of experience as a practicing attorney with a focus on tech, SaaS and startup companies
• Proven track record of negotiating complex contracts and deals with blue-chip clients
• Strong leadership and management skills with experience leading legal teams
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritising multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on finding creative solutions
• Admitted to practice law in relevant jurisdiction(s)

Salary/Stipend
