Details of the Job/Internship

Jalan Group of Industries is hiring for the position of Head of Legal to join their Kolkata office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Handling Civil / Criminal cases and other cases of law relating to property and tenancy related to company properties at various courts.
• Land acquisitions and approvals.
• Project approval for mortgage of properties to financial / non-financial institutions.
• Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Provides legal advice/opinion besides conducting legal due diligence of all land/property that is connected to the business by structuring transitions, negotiations, and finalization of legal documents.
• To protect the company-owned/leased properties and by taking proper steps/ dispute settlement. Searching the property atthe registry office etc. through agents.

Eligibility

Must have a degree in LLB.
