Details of the Job/Internship
Ravi group is hiring for the position Head of Legal with 8-12 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Represent the company in legal and revenue-related matters before various courts and authorities.
- Draft and review a variety of legal documents including Agreements, Power of Attorneys (POAs), MOUs, and Notices in both English and Marathi.
- Conduct thorough scrutiny of property and revenue records for land acquisition and due diligence.
- Prepare and file applications under the Bombay Tenancy and Agricultural Lands Act, Section 43.
- Liaise with external advocates, civic authorities, survey departments, and other government bodies for legal matters.
- Manage and track ongoing litigation, ensuring timely actions and responses.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the in-house legal team, ensuring efficient task delegation and legal excellence.
- Ensure the legal team adheres to deadlines and maintains compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Eligibility
- LL.B./LL.M. from a recognized institution.
- 8–12 years of legal experience, preferably in real estate law.
- Strong knowledge of property law, land acquisition, and municipal regulations.
- Proficiency in Marathi and English for legal drafting and communication.
- Proven experience in leading legal teams and managing end-to-end legal operations.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and litigation management skills.
