Details of the Job/Internship

RK Business Group is hiring for the position of Legal Head with 15 years of experience to join their office in New Delhi. 

Role and Responsibilities

Legal Strategy & Leadership

• Define and lead the organization’s legal strategy in alignment with business objectives.
• Provide strategic legal counsel to the board, executive leadership, and key business units.

Corporate Governance & Compliance

• Ensure the organization complies with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee all legal aspects of corporate governance, including board matters and company secretarial functions.

Contracts & Transactions

• Review, draft, and negotiate high-value contracts, MoUs, NDAs, joint ventures, and vendor agreements.
• Provide legal support for mergers, acquisitions, investments, and other strategic transactions.

Risk Management & Dispute Resolution

• Identify legal risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage litigation, arbitration, and disputes in coordination with external legal counsel.

Policy Development & Training

• Develop and implement internal legal policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Champion ethical practices and integrity across the organization.

Team Management

• Build and mentor a high-performing legal team.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, HR, compliance, operations, and product teams.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B); Master’s degree or specialization in corporate law is a plus.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive legal experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of Indian corporate laws, labor laws, regulatory frameworks, and commercial law.
• Proven experience in managing complex transactions, legal negotiations, and litigation.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Prior experience in [insert industry, e.g., fintech, manufacturing, tech] is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, high-growth, and compliance-focused environment.

Salary/Stipend
