Ultra Corpotech Pvt Ltd is hiring for the position of Head of Legal with 10-20 years of experience to join their office in Pune. 

Role and Responsibilities

Corporate Governance & Policy Implementation

• Develop and implement a robust corporate governance framework tailored to manufacturing operations.
• Design and enforce policies related to ethical sourcing, environmental sustainability, and supply chain integrity.
• Ensure alignment with industry best practices and applicable laws.

Regulatory Compliance

• Oversee compliance with all relevant environmental, health, safety, and industry-specific regulations (e.g., ISO standards).
• Conduct periodic compliance audits and implement corrective actions where needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving laws and standards.

Risk Management

• Identify, assess, and mitigate operational, financial, and reputational risks related to manufacturing.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Advise leadership on governance-related risk exposure.

Ethics & Transparency

• Champion ethical conduct and transparency throughout manufacturing operations.
• Uphold a culture of accountability and integrity at all levels of the organization.
• Lead investigations into potential ethical or compliance violations.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Foster open communication with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, suppliers, and customers.
• Act as the key liaison between legal/compliance and manufacturing leadership teams.
• Support transparent reporting and disclosures to stakeholders.

Training & Awareness

• Develop and conduct training programs on corporate governance, compliance responsibilities, and ethical conduct.
• Promote awareness of corporate policies and legal obligations throughout the organization.

Eligibility

• Legal Expertise: In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks applicable to manufacturing (e.g., labor laws, environmental norms, ISO standards).
• Manufacturing Insight: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, quality control, and production planning.
• Risk Analysis: Skilled in identifying risks and implementing effective mitigation plans.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; able to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
• Ethical Leadership: Strong personal integrity and commitment to driving ethical practices.
• Problem-Solving: Proactive in addressing complex issues with practical, legally sound solutions.
• Adaptability: Comfortable operating in dynamic environments with evolving regulatory and business landscapes.
