Details of the Job/Internship
Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth is hiring a Professor and Head of Department (HOD) for the School of Law.
Role and Responsibilities
- Academic Leadership: Lead curriculum planning and ensure effective delivery of all law programs.
- Administrative Management: Prepare academic calendars, manage faculty workload, and lead performance reviews.
- Regulatory Compliance: Coordinate inspections and documentation for NAAC, NIRF, BCI, and UGC accreditation.
- Research Oversight: Supervise Ph.D. scholars and promote high-quality publications in Scopus or UGC-CARE journals.
- Student Mentorship: Guide students in moot courts, legal aid activities, internships, and placement readiness.
- External Linkages: Develop collaborations with law firms, courts, NGOs, and corporate legal departments.
- Innovation: Promote modern teaching methodologies, including clinical legal education and case-based learning.
Eligibility
- Mandatory Qualification: Ph.D. in Law from a recognized university.
- Master's Degree: LL.M. with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade.
- Experience: 10–15 years of teaching or research experience in reputed institutions.
- Seniority: At least 5 years of experience at the Associate Professor level.
- Research Record: Proven track record of publications and research orientation.
- Administrative Background: Prior experience as HOD, Dean, or Academic Coordinator is preferred.
