Details of the Job/Internship
GARANT.iN is hiring an HR Legal Counsel with 2–5 years of experience to join their India-based remote team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and update employment contracts, offer letters, NDAs, and termination documents.
- Manage HR-related legal documentation including hiring, onboarding, probation, salary revisions, leaves, dismissals, and relocations.
- Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws, employee benefits regulations, data protection rules, and workplace policies.
- Advise management and HR teams on labor law risks, disciplinary processes, and dispute prevention.
Eligibility
- LLB or equivalent; master’s degree is preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in labor or employment law or HR legal consulting.
- Strong knowledge of Indian employment legislation and compliance requirements.
- Experience handling HR documentation and employment disputes.
- Excellent written and spoken English; Hindi is an added advantage.
- High attention to detail, confidentiality, and strong communication skills.
