Details of the Job/Internship
G4S is seeking a qualified and experienced Hub Legal Head to manage a large litigation portfolio and provide legal advisory services across business functions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage diverse litigation matters including commercial, civil, labour (ESI, PF, gratuity, etc.), statutory, and criminal cases.
- Oversee bad debt recovery including through Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) proceedings.
- Provide risk advisory to management and business heads on ongoing and potential litigation.
- Select, liaise with, and manage external legal counsel and senior advocates.
- Guide external counsel on the company’s legal strategy and represent the company in conferences
- Review RFPs and tender documents to advise on legal risks and negotiation points.
- Draft and review legal notices, responses, and general legal documentation.
- Maintain a repository of legal records and ensure implementation of group policies.
- Track and report litigation progress through legal management systems.
Eligibility
- LLB from a reputed law school.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in litigation, preferably in a law firm or large corporate legal team.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and related litigation (MUST HAVE).
- Experience with PF 7A enquiries, domestic inquiries, ESI, Industrial Disputes Act matters, and terminations (MUST HAVE).
- Familiarity with litigation management tools and legal documentation practices.
