Details of the Job/Internship
E2 Visas USA is hiring an Immigration Officer / Legal Assistant – U.S. Immigration Law with 5+ years of experience to join their remote team, preferably based in or near Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys and senior paralegals in preparing and assembling U.S. immigration petitions and supporting documentation.
- Review, draft, and organize client documents and forms for submission to USCIS, NVC, and U.S. embassies worldwide.
- Communicate professionally with clients to collect documents and provide case status updates.
- Track deadlines and maintain organized case records and files.
- Assist in preparing clients for visa interviews at U.S. embassies or consulates.
Eligibility
- Minimum 5 years of experience in U.S. immigration services, preferably within a law firm or immigration consultancy.
- Hands-on experience with U.S. immigration forms and procedures, including I-129, I-539, DS-160, DS-260, DS-156E, I-140, etc.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Comfortable with remote work and digital tools like Google Workspace, PDF editors, and CRM platforms.
