Details of the Job/Internship
Prachi Shah Law, PLLC is looking for a candidate for the position of Immigration Paralegal to work with them in Remote Mode.
Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare and draft cover letters and expert letters for O-1, NIW, EB-1A, family-based, and humanitarian immigration cases.
- Handle correspondence, including drafting and managing emails and letters.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and conference calls.
- Conduct legal research, draft legal briefs, prepare forms, and compile case packets.
- Organize and maintain case files and legal documents.
- Assist in case management by tracking deadlines and maintaining client communication.
Eligibility
- Strong understanding of legal frameworks, compliance regulations, and case management in immigration.
- Familiarity with USCIS forms, visa petitions, adjustment of status, consular processing, and naturalization applications, (training can be provided if necessary).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Attention to detail and ability to draft clear, accurate, and legally sound documents.
- Proficiency in legal software, case management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
- Understanding of confidentiality and ethical standards in legal practice.
