Details of the Job/Internship

Agratas is hiring an Immigration Specialist with 5-10 years of experience to join them in Bengaluru office. 

Role and Responsibilities

Liaison with Overseas Travellers:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for overseas travellers (e.g., US, UK, China), aiding with visa applications and related processes. Ensure clear communication with travellers regarding required documents and application status.

Liaison with External Partner:

• Coordinate with external immigration partner (e.g., LawQuest) to ensure timely and accurate processing of visa applications. Provide necessary documentation and follow up on case progress with external partner to resolve any issues that arise.

Document Collection:

• Collect and review all required documentation from visa applicants, ensuring completeness and accuracy. Work closely with applicants to ensure timely submission of necessary documents.

Case Tracking and Status Updates:

• Track the status of visa application preparation and processing once filed for each applicant. Ensure that updates are regularly provided to both applicants and internal stakeholders.

Time-Sensitive Reporting:

• Ensure timely and accurate reporting on visa application progress, tracking critical deadlines and milestones. Provide escalation of any issues or delays to internal stakeholders and external partners as needed.

Proactive Problem Solving:

• Take initiative to address any issues or delays in the visa application process. Escalate matters promptly to Agratas and/or external partners as necessary to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.

Eligibility

• A graduate degree in any field, preferably with a focus in business administration, law, or human resources.
• 5-10 years of experience in administrative support, immigration.
• Any certifications or training related to immigration law or visa processing will be an added advantage.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
