Details of the Job/Internship

Earthitects is hiring an In-House Counsel with 1+ years of experience to join their office in Bangalore.

Role and Responsibilities

• Represent the company on all legal matters assigned.
• Identify legal or contractual issues and develop solutions for complex matters.
• Provide legal advice to senior management on corporate and business issues.
• Handle tasks related to records procurement, due diligence, documentation, registration, and agreement drafting.
• Manage matters involving FEMA, property laws, land acquisition, development, construction, real estate, and sale of movable and immovable assets.
• Prepare MoUs, deeds, contracts, subscription agreements, confidentiality letters, bye-laws, and related documents.
• Liaise with government departments and external counsels.
• Stay updated on federal and state laws and regulations impacting the business.
• Conduct legal research and advise internal teams on transaction-related risks.
• Ensure legality of company transactions by gathering evidence, drafting contracts, and advising on rights and obligations.

Eligibility

• LLB degree with strong academic credentials and AIBE qualification.
• Licensed to practice law in India.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a counsel or advocate.
• Relevant experience in property law matters.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Kannada and English.
• Strong business judgment and professionalism.
• Ability to work both independently and in teams.
• Capability to handle high volumes of work with strong time management and organisational skills.
• Pragmatic problem-solving approach.

Salary/Stipend
