Details of the Job/Internship

Eastconsult is hiring an In-House Corporate Lawyer with 1–3 years of experience to support business operations in India and assist with international legal projects. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial, corporate, construction, employment, and other agreements.
• Provide legal support for real estate transactions and construction projects.
• Manage corporate documentation, including MCA filings and statutory compliances.
• Handle corporate changes, record maintenance, and bank account opening and closure.
• Advise on employment law, tax-related legal matters, and internal policies.
• Support international trade matters and cross-border contracts.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and ensure timely internal implementation.
• Liaise with and represent the organisation before government authorities and regulators, as required.

Eligibility

• LL.B. or LL.M. degree from a recognised university.
• 1–3 years of experience in an in-house legal role or corporate law practice.
• Strong knowledge of corporate law, contracts, real estate, and construction matters.
• Excellent command of English (C1 level); additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, if required.
• Knowledge of international law is an added advantage.

Salary/Stipend
