Details of the Job/Internship
BSH Home Appliances Group is hiring an In-House Counsel with 2 to 4 years of experience to join their office in Chennai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal guidance on factory-related laws, corporate law, and regulatory compliances.
- Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts to protect the company's interests.
- Identify and mitigate potential legal risks through proactive and practical solutions.
- Monitor industry trends and updated regulations to ensure total statutory compliance across business functions.
- Assist in managing and resolving disputes, including the coordination and engagement of external counsel.
- Prepare and maintain critical legal records, including corporate policies and contract repositories.
- Align legal strategies with business operations to contribute to the organization's overall dynamics.
Eligibility
- Qualified Lawyer in India (Master’s degree in law is ideal).
- 2 to 4 years of experience, specifically within a manufacturing setup.
- Proven expertise in commercial, regulatory, corporate, and statutory compliances.
- Mandatory Language Proficiency: Excellent command of both English and Tamil.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically and independently.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to act based on data and adapt to new digital technologies.
- High level of integrity and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
