Details of the Job/Internship

ICCS DigX is hiring a Senior In-House Counsel with experience of 7+ years to join their office in Noida. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Direct aggressive debt recovery strategies, specifically utilizing Section 16 of the MSMED Act to maximize mandated compound interest.
• Draft formal legal notices outlining penalties and prepare criminal complaints (IPC/Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita) against debtor directors.
• Act as the primary liaison with law enforcement for police complaints (FIRs), summons, and coordination of investigation evidence.
• Manage and audit external litigators to ensure strict alignment with the company's recovery and litigation strategy.
• Own the contract lifecycle, including drafting and negotiating complex MSAs, Service Agreements, Vendor SLAs, and Lease Agreements.
• Validate financial security documents such as Promissory Notes and Guarantees to ensure absolute legal enforceability.
• Ensure adherence to Indian corporate laws, including the Companies Act and Labour Laws, while monitoring legislative changes.
• Maintain a secure, auditable legal repository for the systematic tracking and execution of all legal documents.

Eligibility

• LL.B. and LLM from a recognized Indian University (Tier 1 or Tier 2 colleges preferred).
• 5 to 10 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE), with at least 7 years preferred for this senior level.
• Mandatory Expertise: Deep working knowledge of MSMED Act (Sec 15/16), NI Act (Sec 138), IPC/Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita, and the Arbitration Act.
• Strong preference for candidates with prior in-house experience in the IT, Telecom, or Technology sectors.
• Must be based in or willing to work out of Delhi/NCR.
