Details of the Job/Internship

LeadSquared is hiring for the position of In-House Counsel with experience of 3-5 years to join their Bengaluru office. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end management of the contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing a variety of commercial contracts (e.g., customer agreements, vendor contracts, service agreements, and NDAs) relevant to a SaaS company.
• Monitor and track contractual obligations to ensure compliance and proactively address any potential risks or issues.
• Provide legal support to the organization on contract law, ensuring all agreements align with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop training programs and policies, enhancing contract management practices and compliance awareness across departments.
• Assist in dispute resolution related to contractual issues, working with business and legal teams to manage contract-related risks effectively.

Eligibility

• LLB degree from a recognized university. 
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role as an in-house counsel or law firm associate. 
• Strong understanding of Indian laws and regulations, especially in the areas of contract law. 
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills (written and oral). 
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. 
• Work from Office in Bangalore.
