Details of the Job/Internship

Suzlon Group is hiring an In-House Counsel to join their legal team in New Delhi. The role requires an experienced and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in contract drafting and negotiations, along with experience in advising on legal issues across various business functions. Experience in handling regulatory matters will be considered an added advantage.

Role and Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of contracts related to the wind industry, including Supply, BOP, E&C, Supervision, and contracts relating to SCM, IT, HR, and other functions.
• Ensuring contracts comply with applicable laws and company policies while protecting the company’s interests.
• Providing legal advice to various departments on contractual matters, interpretation of laws, and risk management.
• Assisting in developing and implementing policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks.
• Monitoring and interpreting regulatory changes relevant to the company’s operations and advising on compliance requirements.
• Collaborating with external counsel on regulatory matters when required.
• Working closely with internal stakeholders, including business development, operations, finance, and HR, to support business objectives while ensuring legal compliance.

Eligibility

Qualified law graduate from a reputed university recognized by the Bar Council of India.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
