Details of the Job/Internship
ACL Digital is hiring an In-House Immigration Lawyer with around 5 years of experience to join its team at the Bengaluru office. The role is a hybrid position, with an expectation of working from the office at least three days a week. The position involves end-to-end management of United States immigration matters and close coordination with internal stakeholders and external counsel.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage all United States immigration matters, including H-1B, L-1A/B, TN, E visa, and Green Card cases.
- Assess available immigration options and sponsorship viability in coordination with employees, HR, and recruiting managers.
- Independently manage day-to-day aspects of a high-volume immigration caseload and escalate issues to external immigration counsel when required.
- Track and monitor critical deadlines and prioritise caseloads accordingly.
- Advise management and employees on immigration strategies and regulatory changes impacting the business and workforce.
- Lead internal reviews and audits of immigration data, processes, and policies.
- Maintain effective working relationships with internal teams, consultants, clients, service providers, and specialised legal firms.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
