Details of the Job/Internship

Zensar Technologies is hiring for the position of In-House Legal Counsel (Corporate Law) with 4-6 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including:
  • Master Services Agreements (MSAs)
  • Statements of Work (SoWs)
  • SaaS agreements
  • Software license and reseller agreements
  • Strategic alliances and MSSP contracts
  • Data protection agreements, GDPR amendments, and NDAs
• Provide legal support for complex IT infrastructure and managed services deals, especially in multi-vendor environments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure contractual alignment with business goals and risk mitigation strategies.
• Advise on global privacy compliance, including GDPR and data protection laws.
• Handle vendor and subcontractor contracts, including agency worker agreements.
• Offer legal guidance to departments such as Sales, HR, Marketing, Delivery, and Information Security.
• Support HR with employment law matters and internal policy reviews.
• Enhance and update contract templates, playbooks, and internal legal resources.
• Work alongside the Legal Operations team on initiatives including CLM system implementation and process automation.
• Stay informed of legal and regulatory developments impacting the IT services sector and communicate relevant updates internally.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized university.
• 4 to 6 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in an in-house legal team within the IT or technology sector.
• Experience supporting IT outsourcing or infrastructure-led engagements is highly desirable.

Salary/Stipend
