Details of the Job/Internship

Kapil Power and Software Pvt. Ltd. is hiring for the position of In-House Legal Counsel with 5 years of experience to join their office in Hyderabad. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad spectrum of contracts, including commercial agreements, service contracts, and non-disclosure agreements.
• Provide clear and practical legal advice on contract terms, potential disputes, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure all contracts adhere to Indian contract law and applicable regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with business teams to clarify legal obligations, assess risks, and support informed decision-making.
• Conduct thorough legal research and stay informed of changes in laws and regulations impacting the organization.
• Assist in resolving contract-related disputes and represent the company in negotiations with third parties.
• Maintain a well-organized repository of contracts and legal documentation for easy access and compliance tracking.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
• At least 5 years of experience in a legal counsel or contract management role, with a strong emphasis on Indian contract law.
• Proven expertise in contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to offer practical legal solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and experience with contract lifecycle management systems.

Salary/Stipend
