Details of the Job/Internship
Biocon Limited is hiring for the position of Indirect Tax Manager with 2-3 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Coordinate with external legal advisors and consultants to prepare and manage GST litigation and related matters.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Finance, Supply Chain, Legal, and Operations to collect and compile relevant documentation for litigation support.
- Maintain and regularly update a litigation tracker to ensure timely filing of appeals, responses, and other legal documentation.
- Represent the company before tax authorities for hearings, audits, and assessments.
- Stay abreast of relevant amendments, notifications, circulars, and judicial precedents affecting indirect tax laws.
- Provide proactive legal and strategic advice on GST positions, tax planning, compliance impact, and risk mitigation.
Eligibility
- Qualified CA / CS / LLB with 2–3 years of relevant experience, or
- Semi-qualified professional with 5+ years of hands-on experience in indirect tax litigation.
