Details of the Job/Internship

Sukhii Ubuntu is hiring an In-House Advocate with 5–7 years of experience to join their office in Hyderabad.

Role and Responsibilities

• Litigation & Dispute Management:
  • Represent the company before courts, tribunals, arbitration panels, and government authorities.
  • Handle civil, commercial, contractual, and labour-related disputes.
  • Coordinate with external counsels and monitor ongoing cases.
  • Draft pleadings, replies, legal notices, and affidavits.
• Contract Management:
  • Draft, vet, and negotiate construction contracts, sub-contractor agreements, vendor agreements, MoUs, NDAs, and service agreements.
  • Review tender documents, EPC contracts, JV agreements, and project documentation.
  • Identify legal risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Compliance & Regulatory Matters:
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws including the Contract Act, Arbitration Act, Companies Act, Labour Laws, RERA, and other construction-related regulations.
  • Liaise with statutory authorities and government departments.
  • Maintain legal documentation and statutory records.
• Advisory Role:
  • Provide legal guidance to management and internal departments.
  • Support HR on employment-related legal matters.
  • Advise on risk management and corporate governance issues.

Eligibility

• LLB (Mandatory); LLM preferred.
• Enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
• 5–7 years of experience, preferably in the construction or infrastructure industry.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Sound knowledge of contract law, arbitration, real estate, and labour laws.
• Ability to handle matters independently with strong stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in arbitration and large-scale infrastructure projects preferred.
