The firm also handles dispute resolution through mediation and arbitration and aims to deliver effective and cost-efficient legal solutions while ensuring client satisfaction.
Details of the Job/Internship
LexLis Law Offices is hiring an Insolvency Associate with experience of 3–5 years to join their office in Defence Colony, Delhi. The role involves supporting insolvency, corporate law, and compliance practice with exposure to insolvency proceedings, legal research, contract review, and regulatory compliance functions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research on statutes, case laws, and regulatory frameworks.
- Draft and review petitions, applications, contracts, agreements, and legal notices.
- Assist in Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process and liquidation matters.
- Support compliance checks, risk assessments, and regulatory filings.
- Coordinate documentation for NCLT proceedings and liaise with external counsel.
- Prepare legal briefs, summaries, and internal reports.
- Assist in corporate restructuring and insolvency-related matters.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree (mandatory).
- 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
- Working knowledge of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.
- Understanding of corporate laws and compliance requirements.
- Strong legal research and drafting skills.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential matters with professionalism.
