Details of the Job/Internship
FNZ is hiring an Insurance and Legal Operations Manager with 8+ years of experience to support the organisation’s legal team and manage its corporate insurance portfolio.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead the annual insurance renewal process, ensuring accurate data collection and fair representation.
- Manage mid-term insurance policy alterations and policy administration.
- Provide guidance to stakeholders across the business regarding corporate insurance coverage.
- Ensure notifications are made to brokers and insurers to comply with policy conditions.
- Coordinate with brokers, insurers, and internal teams to manage insurance claims efficiently.
- Stay updated with insurance market conditions and industry practices.
- Optimise legal financial controls, including budgeting, billing support, and managing legal spend.
- Support the legal team in managing the panel of external law firms.
- Assist in managing and supporting projects across the legal function.
- Identify and implement legal department tools and processes, including legal technology solutions.
- Gather and analyse operational data and metrics to provide insights for the legal team.
Eligibility
- 8+ years of experience in insurance risk management within an underwriter, broker, or insurer.
- Good understanding of corporate insurance programmes.
- Experience or transferable experience in legal operations managing specialist support services.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and present complex data.
- Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive, resilient, adaptable, and detail-oriented approach.
Salary/Stipend
