Details of the Job/Internship

Trilegal is hiring Associates and Senior Associates with experience of 1–5 years to join their Insurance & Regulatory practice in New Delhi.

Role and Responsibilities

• Advise insurers, reinsurers, intermediaries, and Insurtech platforms on regulatory and transactional matters.
• Assist in structuring cross-border reinsurance arrangements and distribution models.
• Provide regulatory advisory on IRDAI framework, compliance, and licensing.
• Support corporate transactions including joint ventures, investments, and M&A in the insurance sector.
• Handle advisory on coverage disputes, claims, regulatory disputes, and appellate proceedings.
• Draft legal opinions, agreements, and regulatory submissions.

Eligibility

• 1–5 years of experience in insurance, regulatory, or corporate practice.
• Prior exposure to insurance laws and IRDAI regulations is highly preferred.
• Experience in corporate transactions, regulatory advisory, or dispute-related work is an advantage.
• Strong research, drafting, and analytical skills.

Salary/Stipend
