Details of the Job/Internship
Altacit Global is hiring an Intellectual Property Associate/Advocate to join their office in Coimbatore.
Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare and file patent, trademark, copyright, and design applications.
- Assist in developing IP protection, enforcement, and portfolio management strategies.
- Conduct legal research on domestic and international intellectual property laws.
- Handle patent and trademark prosecution, oppositions, cancellations, and infringement matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate IP-related agreements, including licensing and assignments.
- Provide corporate compliance and governance advisory.
- Draft and review corporate documentation such as NDAs, shareholder agreements, and joint venture agreements.
- Ensure compliance with statutory deadlines and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in IP litigation and corporate disputes.
- Engage with clients to understand business requirements and provide legal solutions.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law with a good academic record.
- Strong understanding of intellectual property laws and technical concepts.
- Excellent analytical, drafting, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
