Reliance is seeking an IP Analyst with 3–5 years of experience to join their Mumbai-based team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Patent Analytics: Mine data from patent and non-patent literature to draw technical inferences and create technological landscape reports.
- Invention Evaluation: Provide patentability opinions and suggest "design around" strategies for non-patentable concepts to bypass competitor rights.
- Drafting & Review: Support patent drafting, review claim scoping, and provide inputs for responding to Patent Examination Reports (FER/OAs).
- Standard Mapping: Conduct claim overlap analysis and map technologies to global standards (e.g., SEP/Standard Essential Patents).
- IP Compliance: Review external publications for IP risks and conduct IP audits and awareness training.
- Tools: Utilize AI-based IP tools and advanced Excel macros for large-scale data analysis.
Eligibility
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in Patent Analytics or IP Law.
- Technical Domain: Deep knowledge of 4G/5G/6G Telecommunication, Wireless Protocols, Chipsets, TCP/IP Layers, and Cloud architecture.
- Legal Knowledge: Well-versed in IP laws of India, US (USPTO), and Europe (EPO).
- Skills: Excellent communication skills and proficiency in AI-driven IP search tools and MS Excel.
