LionsBot International is hiring for the position of Intellectual Property Analyst with 2-5 years of experience to join their office in Chennai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Patent Prosecution: Manage all aspects of global patent prosecution, including preparing responses to office actions and ensuring timely filings.
- Patent Drafting: Draft high-quality patent applications (provisional and non-provisional) with accurate disclosure of inventions.
- Claim Analysis: Interpret and analyze complex patent claim language; draft precise, strategic claims.
- Patentability Searches: Independently conduct prior art and patentability searches to evaluate novelty and inventive step.
- IP Project Support: Assist the IP Manager in planning, executing, and monitoring IP-related projects and provide support on ad-hoc IP matters.
- External Coordination: Liaise with external law firms on drafting, prosecution, and filings.
- IP Administration: Maintain accurate records of IP assets (patents, trademarks, designs), track deadlines, and generate portfolio status reports.
Eligibility
- Strong knowledge of US, EP, PCT, and global patent frameworks.
- Proven expertise in drafting responses to office actions across multiple jurisdictions.
- Ability to quickly grasp and draft patents for AI, machine learning, robotics, image processing, and related technologies.
- Proficiency in conducting patentability searches using patent databases and analytics tools.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and patent search/analytics tools.
