Details of the Job/Internship
Altacit Global is hiring an Intellectual Property Associate / Advocate for a full-time, on-site role in its Coimbatore office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and file patent, trademark, copyright, and design applications.
- Assist in developing IP protection, portfolio management, and enforcement strategies.
- Conduct legal research on intellectual property laws and regulations.
- Handle prosecution, opposition, cancellation, and infringement matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate IP-related agreements, including licensing and assignments.
- Provide corporate advisory on compliance, governance, and regulatory matters.
- Draft and review corporate agreements such as shareholder agreements, NDAs, and joint venture agreements.
- Ensure compliance with domestic and international IP and corporate laws.
- Interact with clients to understand business needs and provide legal solutions.
- Assist in IP litigation and corporate disputes, including preparation of pleadings and evidence.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law with a good academic record.
- Strong understanding of technical concepts and ability to grasp new technologies.
- Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
