Details of the Job/Internship

Peritum Partners is hiring an Intellectual Property Associate in Chennai. The role involves IP advisory, prosecution, opposition, and assisting with due diligence and compliance review of IP applications.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, file, and prosecute trademark, copyright, and patent applications.
• Liaise with outstation counsel, investors, and R&D teams to collect technical details and supporting documents.
• Conduct preliminary IP due diligence and assist with formal verification and compliance review of applications.
• Work collaboratively with senior partners and mentors on high-value IP matters.

Eligibility

• LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in intellectual property law.
• Sound understanding and interest in IP law.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
