Details of the Job/Internship
Pocket FM is hiring an Intellectual Property Associate with 2–3 years of experience in IP law to join its Bengaluru office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IP protection and monetization strategies for original audio series, novels, and proprietary formats.
- Manage global IP licensing, content acquisition, and distribution frameworks across international markets.
- Draft, review, and negotiate high-volume IP contracts and rights clearances.
- Advise business teams on format rights, technology transfers, and international syndication.
- Address IP infringement and ensure compliance with copyright, trademark, and licensing laws.
Eligibility
- LL.B. with 2–3 years of experience in intellectual property law.
- Experience in copyright, trademark, and music licensing preferred.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Ability to interpret creative content from a legal perspective.
- Commercial acumen and understanding of the media and technology industry.
